best architects 27 award winners revealed – european architecture with a clear vision

The international jury of the «best architects 27 award» has reached its decision. From nearly 400 submissions, 80 projects were honoured with the «best architects 27» label. 12 projects were awarded the competition’s highest distinction, «best architects 27 in Gold». The awarded projects stand out for their conceptual clarity, outstanding architectural quality, and responsible approach to the ecological and social challenges of our time. They demonstrate how architecture can go beyond meeting purely functional requirements to create lasting value for our built environment.

The award-winning projects, spanning the fields of residential, educational, cultural, workplace, and sports architecture, as well as renovation and transformation, exemplify a building culture that combines sustainability, resource efficiency and social responsibility with high design standards. The particularly high number of submissions in the «Renovation and Addition» and «Residential multi-family» categories highlights the growing importance of forward-looking strategies for working with existing buildings and creating high-quality housing.

The selected works reflect the diversity of European architectural culture and demonstrate a wide range of regionally distinctive responses to today’s planning and construction challenges. In addition to architectural excellence, the jury placed particular emphasis on the strength of the underlying concept, a convincing architectural approach and the appropriateness of each individual solution.
