Description

On a minimal surface area, a new volume supplements the rough and unbalanced dual relationship of the two distinctive main buildings on either side of Weststrasse. The desired inner and outer synergy within the HARD school complex is attained, encompassing roads and uses, through space-forming urban development constellations and conceptions. The characteristic campus-type complex is completed in the logic of the single buildings, so that the typical gaps, crosswise and diagonal views are made more strongly perceptible and dramatic. The extension reads together with the lower buildings of pavilions and in its way adds to the entire complex. The direct accessibility from the classes to both stairways ensures that the cluster can be freely arranged for exhibitions, furnishings, lounging, group work and similar on each floor.
