Description

This construction shows the confrontation with the street and the traffic, the breaking with meaningless constructions, which are sprawling a rural, sensible landscape, an attempt to preserve the remaining beauty of the site. On the east, a noise-protection-wall emerges from the earth progressively, follows like a ribbon the street and gives rise little by little to the first visible façade. On the south, the main view, caught by a single, large dimensioned window, is guided by the same wall to the farmhouse, the lime tree and the Jura, the only visuel opening possible. In consideration of the limited means available, the concrete has been realized with rough OSB framings, executed by the mason in the most economic way possible. The roof, also in concrete, has been covered with a watertightening layer, sticked one next to another, like wall framings. No ostentatious detail has been admitted. During heavy rain falls, the water is running down in front of the large opening like waterscreens of a natural cascade.
