Description
The
project reimagines the 1970s school building as a contemporary learning
environment and a civic threshold, converting an introverted structure into a
dynamic institution where educational and public life converge. The centrepiece
is a new sunken plaza that serves as the main entrance and a civic forecourt,
connecting the entry hall and auditorium while ensuring independent access for
community events outside school hours. Above this core, the layout is organised
into a series of wings or learning clusters, designed as self-contained
microcosms that integrate classrooms and laboratories with communal zones,
support spaces and water stations.
