Description

The aim of the project was to realise a residence for two people on a small remaining plot. The house was to be oriented towards the outdoors yet still offer adequate privacy. The narrow wooden house stands on a massive concrete base, which defines the access and the outdoor space. The living space is open over four floors, which are tied together by a central, multifunctional piece of furniture. The dining room, together with the inviting terrace, forms the spacious ground floor. The cantilevered wooden staircase leads above the light-flooded living room and office to the private bedroom with dressing room and bathroom, shielded from view.
