Description
The new office building for the public
services Leinfelden-Echterdingen was erected on the outskirts of the town, opposite the
public works depot, which also forms a new city entrance due to its urban
positioning. The cubic building with a solid concrete base and light aluminium panels on the upper floors is accessed via the
central braced core. The three office floors can be divided by the flexible
grid as required. The first floor, accessible from three sides, allows flexible
use of the upper floors and provides space for clients, staff and public
events. The supply lines are presented to visitors as open installations and
the business domain of the Municipal Utilities can be experienced and staged.
