Description

Two simple single-storey buildings – the smaller one for the parents, the larger for the young, growing family – react sensitively to the local topography and vegetation and create a farm-like ensemble together with the existing agricultural buildings. Access and outbuildings remain unchanged. The intersection with the public sphere, however, in the form of the point of arrival has been moved to the plot boundary. The so-called «veranda house» serves as the substantive basis for the two new buildings conceived as single-storey garden pavilions with generous covered outside spaces.
