Description
STUDIO
ZWEI stands for individual and flexible urban living in a space of 30 square
metres. Planned down to the smallest detail, foldable functional furniture allows for the optimal use
of limited living space and creates a sense spaciousness and quality. In
just a few simple steps, the entire kitchen and the bed can be folded out or away
with the help of carefully detailed cupboards. Running around the apartment,
heavily planted balconies extend the living area and provide shade in the
summer. A typical storey contains 10 micro studios. Two standard studios can be
connected to form an XL studio (three-room apartment). The apartments on the 11th floor have been developed as maisonette flats.
Common
areas equipped with kitchens (lounges / dining rooms) that can be used by all
residents are located next to the entrance hall. Residents also have use of a
generous roof terrace with an outdoor kitchen on the 11th floor.
Hollow aluminium profiles that span two storeys have been fitted in front of
the balcony panels. They act as a trellis for plants and bring the building
structure, fragmented by the storeys, together to create a harmonious whole.
The aluminium pipework also contains watering hoses as every second floor has
rectangular plant boxes integrated into the steel railings.
