Description

Located in Delémont’s city centre, next to the train station, the Polyadès office building is located in a particular urban situation. In between roads and rails, its shape responds to the constraints of its surroundings. With a floor area of about 3,600 square metres, the project proposes office spaces of a high standard. The flexibility of the floor plans allows big companies as well as smaller ones to establish their offices there. The different spaces are articulated by two central cores that include the vertical circulation as well as the technical elements. The ground floor accommodates common spaces: a cafeteria and two meeting rooms are available to the occupants of the building. The four storeys offer a variety of possible layouts. Three terraces, two of which are covered, are available on the rooftop, with an impressive panoramic view of Delémont’s skyline. As the first certified Minergie P-standard administrative building in the canton of Jura, it employs a number of high-end technical solutions such as geothermic probe heating, an LED lighting system and folded metal façades. Sustainability was one of the key drivers of the project, including commissioning local companies for the construction.
