This single-storey, square-shaped structure fits quietly and unobtrusively into the given situation. It respects the character of the green area, and subordinates itself, without renouncing its autonomy as an architectural feature. It develops clear relations to its surroundings and has balanced spatial proportions. As a result of the functionality of the spatial zones, the structure has few windows and the appearance of the façade is characterized by just a few, strikingly positioned openings. The closed, semi-matt black shimmering surfaces and rounded corners create a surface continuum, which renounces the conventional division into building sides and lends the structure a calmness and naturalness. The white box installed in the interior consists of training and seminar areas and, in between, an inner courtyard whose fully glazed fronts offset the massive external envelope and give the building architectural balance.
