The 17 flats at the corner of a dense, Wilhelminian style block in Vienna’s “Favoriten” are predominantly arranged over two floors each and oriented from court to street. The living and bedroom areas allow a high grade of flexibility within their individually divisible floor plans. Loggias on two floors (“vertical landscape”) allow their tenants their own private green – right in front of their living room! The leafy court and the wide-spread roof garden serve the community. The ground floor is deliberately free of apartments and commercial use and offers a variety of reclaimable areas behind semi-transparent glass walls.
